Mobile Friendly DMOZ

Building mobile friendly website is not easy as I thought. I build web sites that conforms with w3c and other validator. These validators basically test website for well formed tags. If the site is already build on xhtml or xml technology, converting to mobile xhtml or wap mobile site isn't major task. I have built dmoz directory that is valid mobile xhtml. Most major web/internet dot com companies do not develop valid html or xhtml sites. These companies do not rely on search engines or other web technologies because they are "THE" technology. By developing a valid xhtml or html is to make it robot friendly. We must cater to needs of the robot so they would like to come back and visit soon.
The mobile xhtml valid DMOZ directory USPharmD DMOZ. You must use mobile browser to view mobile platform or you will see regular version of the directory. It reads USER AGENT of the browser and formats the directory dynamically. One issue that I a still pondering is size the site or page. I haven't converted the main site due to size issue. The recommended size is only 20 kb so pages have to be divided. Is this necessary or will mobile web technology advance itself for bigger memory and cpu.
